History Tour 2012 (April)
See history come alive! Students in grade 10, 11, or 12 have a great opportunity to see history for themselves! The Social Studies department is doing another historically based trip, and this one is sure to be dynamic. The trip will take place in Germany (Berlin), Poland (Warsaw and Krakow), and the Czech Republic (Prague). Students will take tours through many of the museums and old world charm of Eastern Europe and culminates with guided tours of Auschwitz. The tour has a theme of education and awareness of the holocaust of WWII. We feel this is an important topic for students as it helps them understand the history of the time; while also promoting awareness, tolerance, and understanding. This is a powerful and meaningful experience for any student and we would like you to be a part of it!
